Visit to Museu Municipal de Estremoz

We went to Museu Municipal Professor Joaquim Vermelho to collect samples of fauna found during excavations carried out in Estremoz. These samples, from several animals, will be essential to estimate what would be the baseline diet at Estremoz during the Medieval period.

We also took the opportunity to visit the museum, where we found the characteristic Bonecos de Estremoz, as well as pottery and other handicrafts made in the town.
