It was with great pleasure that last Friday we were at Praça Do Giraldo, in Évora, to participate in yet another European Researchers' Night (ERN), during which we had two activities:
"What do bones tell us about diet?", in a partnership with the FoSNeC project, during which we showed the dentition of several animals, including humans, and explained how it is related to the diet and adapted to a herbivorous, omnivorous diet or carnivorous. We also created two games for our newest visitors.
"Equality/inequality in the past: the role of Anthropology in its study", in partnership with the Laboratory of Biological Anthropology of the University of Évora, in which we showed several cases, mainly from Estremoz, of individuals with physical limitations and discussed how these would affect their life and the way they were seen by medieval society.
